ZIM hip hop fraternity will soon be witnessing the battle of the two most decorated rappers Takura and Ti Gonzi as the latter is set to release a single titled Kuvhiringa Hurongwa featuring Kinnah on June 11.

Recently, Takura has released a song titled No Stopping on an RnB style which has not pleased some of his fans who are used to his hip hop tracks. However, the track has generally received a positive feedback from most of his followers.

Though Ti Gonzi and Takura are of different styles, they have been recently compared last year when they released their projects as the former was coming on strongly in 2019 with plenty of collabos and the popular duet – Kure – he did with Ishan.

Takura has also hinted on releasing an EP titled The Shona Prince. This will also give the hip hop fans something to talk about and choose their best act of the year.

Takura and Ti Gonzi seemed to have been fighting a battle but scared of directly confronting each other. Ti Gonzi was not happy when ZIMA gave Takura the best Zim hip hop accolade and went on to express his displeasure on social media.

However, this year Zim hip hop seems to have new game players as we witnessed one of the most followed and entertaining beef between Noble Stylz and Resilience GZE. We might see a change come 2020 Zim hip hop awards.
